Have we paid in full?
Please contact Crossover for information on any balances due.

Are there any costs NOT included in Crossover’s price?
Yes. Your free-day lunch and any souvenirs are each individual’s responsibility.

Are there entrance and exit fees for our trip?
Exit fees are usually included in the cost of airline tickets. Check with your airline to confirm.

What is the name, number, and address of the onsite contact?
Please call Crossover for individual contact information.

Does the team have travel insurance?

Packing

What do we need to pack?
The Orientation Guide has a comprehensive packing list, including suggested attire for your different ministries.

Can we bring air mattresses?
Yes. We suggest you bring an air mattress. An additional suggestion is that you check the mattress for leaks by sleeping on it before your trip.

Do we need to bring tools?
Consult the Orientation Guide. If you haven’t already been notified of particular needs, and the Orientation Guide doesn’t reference a tool list, then you don’t need to pack tools.

How much money should each person bring?
Plan to bring at most $10 for free-day lunch and additional money for free-day activities (souvenirs, recreational activities, etc.).

Travel

Do I need a passport?
When traveling to Brazil or Moldova, both a passport and visa are required.

Do I need to take the signed and notarized affidavits with me?
Yes. For anyone 18 and under, you must carry the signed and notarized affidavit forms. These forms give the team leader legal right to carry a minor across international borders. They also authorize you to make decisions pertaining to medical treatment. Customs will not allow entrance of a minor without this form!

Can you give me directions to where we’re staying?
Yes. Call Crossover (803-691-0688) and they can fax or email directions to you.

Should we wear our Crossover t-shirts while traveling?
Plan to pack (but not wear) your shirts until later in the week.

Onsite

Can participants call home while onsite?
Phone usage is not available for regular use, though the team leader will have access to a phone. We suggest you set up a phone chain ahead of time so information about the team may be relayed in a timely manner.

Do we have translators?
Yes. As needed, Crossover provides translators at our ministry sites.
