Training is an exciting and broad effort that includes teaching foundational Christian truths, training leadership, and mentoring interns. Crossover provides contextualized instruction through The Christian Leadership Training Institute and the Church Planters Training Institute. Selected graduates from the Church Planters Training Institute are invited to continue training in our internship program.
Christian Leadership Training Institute (Growing Churches)
Crossover developed a multi-course leadership training program taught in intensive, one-week modules over a two-year period that equips believers in Bible knowledge, spiritual growth and ministry skills. The large number of believers who have attended these institutes has enabled the new churches started by Crossover to develop far more quickly than anticipated. Crossover is always seeking communicators who are gifted, experienced practitioners skilled in identifying and responding to cross-cultural needs and learning styles to help with the teaching.
Church Planters Training Institute (Planting Churches)
Graduates of the Christian Leadership Training Institute or those who have had comparable training sometimes exhibit unique passion and giftedness for apostolic and evangelistic roles. These graduates are invited to continue their training in the Church Planters Training Institute. These courses are designed to be completed within a one-year period and to prepare a church planter to be able to survey, evangelize, and develop a new church and its leadership within a targeted community.
Internship
Graduates of the Church Planters Institute are interviewed and those who qualify are selected to be mentored by our Crossover national staff. Those selected will receive guidance and support for two years as they work to plant their church.
